Coldplay were talking to Zane Lowe on Radio 1 earlier tonight when they announced that they are halfway through making a new album titled "A Head Full Of Dreams" (unfortunately Chris mentioned no release date). Chris however did mention the news that they will be touring the new record (presumably worldwide), unlike this year's intimate album Ghost Stories which saw only a few intimate theatre shows and a headline slot earlier this year at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow Green.
In the interview Chris Martin had described the new album as being "like the final Harry Potter book" he however hinted that there could be more music after but the new record is being produced as if it will Coldplay's final installment.
You can listen to the Full Interview with Zane Lowe below as Chris talks about the new record and what it mean's to be named Record Of The Year by Radio 1 listeners.
Don't forget though you can check Coldplay out Live on BBC One HD next Thursday at 8pm when they play the BBC Music Awards where we The Perfect Tempo will be Live at the event to bring you pictures and video clips.
