Mumford & Son's have announced the details of their upcoming third album "Wilder Mind", it will be released on May 4th through their "Gentleman of the Road" subsidiary label and it will be comprised of 12 brand new tracks. When talking about the album front-man Marcus Mumford confirmed that it would not feature their signature instrument the Banjo and instead would take their music in a new direction. stating the band had a desire to shake things up.
Not including their secret set at Glastonbury last year, Mumford & Son's have been on a hiatus since their terrific headline performance at their own festival staged at the Olympic Park in London 18 months ago (which they played only a week after they headlined Glasto's very own Pyramid Stage).
The track-listing for the album was also announced;

Fans won't have to wait long for the first track from the new album however as it's set to be premiered on Radio 1 on Monday, before "Believe" is being released as a single on April 27th to purchase
The announcement was accompanied by a short teaser video which gives a strong hint at Mumford's new electric direction....
