Yesterday saw Taylor Swift perform the first of two sold out stadium shows in Tokyo, Japan as the 1989 World tour kicked off in style. It seemed like the whole of Tokyo had come out to see Swift arrived at the airport as the large group of fans had managed to delay two arriving flights due to the sheer amount of people.
The 55,000 strong crowd enjoyed a elaborate performance which consisted of the entire 1989 album (including bonus tracks) alongside a few reworked old hits, various stage decorations and background elevations as well as no less than ten costume changes from Taylor.
The tour continues at Rock in Rio: Las Vegas festival before she will do a few North American stadiums/arenas before she comes over here to the UK where she will play Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin and a sold-out headlining slot at BST Hyde Park on June 27th.
